Question: This seven million dollars is equivalent to how many labor hours at Federal minimum wage of $7.25/hour?
Answer: full time labor tossing burgers for one year for 482 of our sons and daughters.
Is the great big sucking noise in the background the Federal vacuum cleaner picking the last grains of the hope and change off of the economy floor?
.... and then one could ask how much hope is left for those who lost it all in Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy? Will the talons of the freedom seeking American Eagle pop the bubble?
